
A Buckin Good Time
Get ready for a classic summer weekend in the Flagstaff Region with rodeo action, camping, homemade food, family activities, live entertainment, and one of Hardisty’s most famous traditions, the Combine Crunch.
The Hardisty Rodeo runs rain or shine from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19, 2026, with camping available right on the rodeo grounds. Come early, settle in, and enjoy a full weekend of small-town hospitality, western tradition, and family friendly fun.
Before you Go
Camping on the rodeo grounds opens Thursday, July 16 at 12:00 p.m.
Camping options include:
Power sites: $60 for the weekend
Non powered sites: $20 for the weekend
Campers are welcome to bring a portable fire pit and firewood.
For those hoping to stay at Hardisty Lake Campground, be sure to plan far ahead. Sites can be booked more than six months in advance and often fill up quickly for rodeo weekend.

Friday admission: $10
Saturday admission: $20
Sunday admission: $20
Children 12 and under: Free
Admission and camping can be paid by cash or debit. Credit cards are not accepted.
Food, drinks, and other purchases on the rodeo grounds are cash only. There is no ATM on site, so be sure to bring cash with you.

Thursday, July 16
Settle In and Start the Weekend
Arrive Thursday afternoon or evening, set up camp on the rodeo grounds, and get comfortable for the weekend.
Once camp is ready, keep things easy with takeout from Rob’s Bar & Grill. Their pizza is a great option for a relaxed first night at camp before the rodeo weekend gets underway.
Friday, July 17
Pancakes, Street Fair, Chuckwagon Action, and Dancing
Start your first full day with a community pancake breakfast before heading over to the street fair and car show.
The street fair runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and has plenty to offer families, making it a great way to spend the day before the evening events begin.
For supper, grab something from one of the local group run food booths on the rodeo grounds. The food is homemade, locally prepared, and part of what makes rodeo weekend so special.

Saturday, July 18
Parade Day and Rodeo Fun
Saturday starts with the parade, followed by brunch at The Leaf before heading back to the rodeo grounds for an afternoon of rodeo action.
Families with young rodeo fans can look into kids’ activities such as mutton bustin’ and the wild pony race. Sign up at the rodeo office before the rodeo begins. The rodeo office is located on the east side of the rodeo arena.

Sunday, July 19
Beach Time, Rodeo, and the Famous Combine Crunch
Enjoy a slower Sunday morning with breakfast over the campfire using food from local sources. After breakfast, head to Hardisty Lake beach for some time by the water before the final day of rodeo events begins.
Sunday wraps up with one of the weekend’s biggest highlights: the Combine Crunch. This event is famous and brings people in from all over, so arrive early to get a good seat.
