Beaver County, M.D. of Wainwright, M.D. of Provost and Flagstaff County
Flagstaff County shares municipal boundaries with Beaver County, the M.D. of Wainwright and the M.D. of Provost, and has enjoyed a long history of cooperation and collaboration with each municipality.
In 2020, Flagstaff County entered into separate Intermunicipal Collaboration Frameworks (ICFs) with Beaver County, the M.D. of Wainwright and the M.D. of Provost to identify and coordinate shared services that benefit residents across municipal boundaries.
Following a recent review of both agreements, the respective Councils determined that there are currently no shared services requiring a formal Intermunicipal Collaboration Framework. As a result, all parties have mutually agreed to opt out of their ICF agreements.
Beaver County, the M.D. of Wainwright, the M.D. of Provost, and Flagstaff County value their strong working relationships and remain committed to collaborating on matters of mutual interest. The municipalities will continue to support one another and work together where opportunities arise to benefit their residents and the region.
