Elizabeth Disman
Daeco HR

HR Leadership, Performance Management, Organizational Strategy

About Elizabeth

I’m the Founder and Co-Owner of Daeco HR Consulting, and for more than 26 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside leaders across Alberta as they grow organizations, navigate challenges, and build strong teams.

As a business owner myself, I understand what it means to carry responsibility, to make difficult decisions, balance competing priorities, and lead people through both opportunity and uncertainty. I know how rewarding leadership can be, and I also know how heavy it can feel at times.

I believe the organizations that make the biggest difference in our communities are often built by people who care deeply, business owners, farmers, executive directors, boards, and leaders who are working hard to create opportunity, support families, and build strong, resilient communities.

That’s especially true in rural Alberta.

I’m passionate about supporting the people behind these organizations because when leaders are clear, confident, and supported, their businesses and communities are stronger for it.

I work one-on-one with leaders to provide honest conversations, accountability, mentorship, and practical strategic guidance. Sometimes that means helping clarify priorities and goals. Sometimes it means working through people challenges, strengthening leadership confidence, improving systems and processes, navigating change, or building a culture where people can thrive.

My approach is practical, straightforward, and grounded in real-world experience. I’m not interested in one-size-fits-all solutions or complicated theory. I believe the best strategies are the ones that fit your organization, your values, and the future you’re working to build.

Through my work with Daeco, I’ve supported organizations across industries with leadership development, organizational growth, workplace culture, governance support, team effectiveness, and practical people strategies that create lasting results.

I can support leaders with:

• Strategic planning and organizational growth
• Leadership development and confidence-building
• Team development, hiring, and retention
• Navigating difficult people and workplace challenges
• Building clear systems and accountability
• Strengthening workplace culture
• Governance and board effectiveness
• Delegation and reducing day-to-day overwhelm
• Creating sustainable organizations that support long-term success

I believe great organizations are built by great people. Sometimes having the right person beside you is someone who will listen, challenge your thinking, and help you focus on what matters most and that can make all the difference.

Josie Storbakken
JCE Films

Marketing Strategy, Brand Storytelling, Photo & Video

About Josie

Josie is the founder of JCE Films. She and her team work with small businesses, enterprise groups, municipalities, community foundations, and non-profits on video, photo, web, and marketing strategy. Born and raised in the Flagstaff region, much of Josie’s work happens right here. What she cares about isn’t only the photo and video itself. It’s what it does for your business. Your real message, where it lives, and whether your content is earning its keep or just sitting in a folder.

Josie runs a small business herself, so she gets the budget calls, the time crunch, and the part where you’re the marketing department, the bookkeeper, and the person making the product. We take the time to get to know your business before recommending anything.

During the session, we can walk through your website and social channels or just talk through whatever you’re stuck on. Anything photo and video, or even inhouse coaching (aka, using your cell phone to create your own content). We can discuss how to use what you already have for content, or where your next marketing dollar should go. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what your marketing should be doing, and some real next steps.
