Flagstaff County and Flagstaff Child and Youth Coalition are excited to announce our partnership on the Build a Skill program. Build a Skill is a community-driven program that connects youth (Grades 10-12) with opportunities to learn practical skills from local mentors. Whether it’s a trade, craft, business skill, or creative pursuit, this initiative helps young people explore new interests, gain confidence, and develop hands-on experience in a guided environment.
With flexible scheduling and a focus on real-world learning, students can participate in skill-building sessions that range from one-time workshops to short series. Sessions take place throughout the community and are designed to be engaging, supportive, and inspiring.
By bringing together skilled individuals and eager learners, Build a Skill strengthens community connections and helps prepare youth for future careers, hobbies, and life experiences.
