Delegations requesting reappearance on a specific matter shall only be permitted to do so if the information to be presented is new or a significant addition to that which was previously presented.
  • Council shall hear no more than four (4) delegations at any one meeting of Council unless Council allows otherwise. All rules of Council in this Procedural Bylaw shall apply to each and every member of the delegation.

Submitting Written Correspondence to Council

Any person wishing to have an item of business placed on the agenda, shall make the submissions in writing to Shelly Armstrong, Chief Administrative Officer not less than nine (9) working days in advance of the Council meeting date. Emergency items for inclusion in the upcoming meeting that are received after the deadline may be considered by the CAO. All submissions shall contain adequate information to the satisfaction of the CAO to enable Council to consider the matter.

Forward any requests or questions to Shelly Armstrong, Chief Administrative Officer via email (sarmstrong@flagstaff.ab.ca) or by calling (780) 384-4100.

Please be advised that given the public nature of all Council and committee meetings, an individual writing to a councillor or administration, could have their correspondence, including name and address, disclosed at meetings.
