Voter Eligibility
- Is at least 18 years of age;
- Is a Canadian Citizen; and
- Resides in Alberta, and the person’s place of residence is in the local jurisdiction on Election Day.
New Electoral Boundaries

Prior to this year’s election, Flagstaff County was divided into seven electoral divisions. After an extensive Electoral Boundary Review in 2024, Council decided to decrease the number of divisions to five.
Special Ballot
Voters who cannot vote on Election Day may vote by Special Ballot. To do so, please contact the Returning Officer either in writing, by telephone, in person, or via e-mail by 4 p.m. on Oct. 17, 2025.
Special Ballot votes MUST be received by the Returning Officer by 8 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2025.
